HL Properties, founded in 2019, is a local remodeling company dedicated to helping homeowners refresh, update, and improve their homes throughout East Tennessee. We handle whole-home renovations, kitchen and bathroom renovations, additions, and interior improvements with a focus on reliability, friendly service, and transparent pricing. We also provide handmade, custom cabinetry crafted in our cabinet shop in Kingston, TN, as well as affordable cabinet options that can be customized to your layout and design preferences.
Meet the Owner
HL Properties is proudly owned and operated by Tyson Hamilton, a lifelong East Tennessee resident who believes the best work is done with care, craftsmanship, and a personal touch. Tyson graduated from Roane County High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee, but it didn’t take long for him to realize that a corporate office job wasn’t where he belonged.
In 2016, Tyson made the decision to pursue a career in construction and remodeling—work that allowed him to build with his hands and see ideas come to life. He has been passionate about woodworking and craftsmanship ever since, finding real satisfaction in transforming a vision into a finished space that homeowners are proud of. Today, he leads HL Properties with a commitment to doing things the right way, giving every project hands-on attention and clear communication from start to finish.
When he’s not on the job, Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Houston and Lily. He’s a devoted Tennessee Vols fan and values time with family and friends just as much as quality work. That same sense of pride and dedication carries into every remodel—because for Tyson, this isn’t just construction, it’s building spaces that feel like home.
